Lilly And Hamm Lead U.S. To 6-0 Win Over Finland

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kristine Lilly scored two goals and Mia Hamm had three assists Thursday night, as the United States beat Finland 6-0 in the second leg of the U.S. Women's Cup.
oth of Lilly's goals came after the half as the defending World Cup champions improved to 2-0 in the three-game tournament. The United States, which outshot Finland 27-0 on Thursday, has outscored its opponents 11-0.
Lilly's blast from inside the 6-yard box on an assist from Danielle Fotopolous made it 4-0 in the 54th minute, and she took a cross from Brandi Chastain at the top of the penalty area and drove it past goalkeeper Satu Kannas for a 5-0 lead in the 63rd minute.
The crowd of 36,405 was the largest ever to see a soccer game in Kansas City.
Hamm assisted on all three of the United States' first-half goals before sitting down at the start of the second half.
The Americans scored in the 9th minute, when Tiffeny Milbrett put a left-footed shot past Kunnas from the edge of the area. Joy Fawcett made it 2-0 in the 14th minute when she took Hamm's pass and drove the ball into the top of the net from 10 yards out.
Sara Whalen bounced a shot off a defender's leg in a crowded penalty area for a 3-0 lead in the 36th minute.
The United States' final goal, in the 88th minute, was an own goal charged to Terhi Uui-Luomalahti. The ball went off her foot as she tried to beat Fotopolous to a pass from Shannon McMillan.
In the early game, Roseli and Raquel scored two goals each to lead Brazil to a 4-0 win over South Korea.
Roseli, who missed the World Cup with a knee injury as Brazil finished third, has four goals and one assist in two U.S. Women's Cup games. South Korea has been outscored 9-0 in its two games.
Roseli gave Brazil a 1-0 lead with a penalty kick in the 39th minute and made it 2-0 in the 53rd with a slow roller that went through the legs of goalkeeper Ho Jung Jung. Raquel's goals came in the 54th and 74th minutes.
