Tar Heels To Play For Doubles Title

The UNC men's tennis doubles team of Brett Clark and Robert Kelly will play for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships title Sunday after reaching the final with a 7-6(3), 4-6, 1-0(6) win over Notre Dame's Alex Lawson and Quentin Monaghan on Saturday. The No. 2 seed in the doubles draw, Clark and Kelly will face the Texas Tech team of Hugo Dojas and Felipe Soares in the championship match at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

The Tar Heels have reached the finals of a major event for the second time this fall. They also played in the championship match at the ITA All-American Championship last month.
UNC also has a team, Hayley Carter and Whitney Kay, playing in the women's doubles championship on Sunday.
