NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Six Tar Heels scored in double figures and UNC never trailed in a 130-45 win over StarSports Basketball Club on Saturday afternoon at the Kendal Isaacs National Gymnasium.

Carolina went 2-0 in its pre-season exhibition tour in Nassau.

Sophomore Brandon Huffman led UNC with 20 points, 16 in the second half, and 20 rebounds. Luke Maye and Kenny Williams both scored 18 points. Garrison Brooks (12), Nassir Little (11) and Sterling Manley (10) also reached double figures.

Maye and Manley grabbed 10 boards apiece, with Maye grabbing nine on the offensive glass.

Carolina had assists on each of its 11 field goals in the first quarter to race out to a 27-14 lead. The Tar Heels extended the lead to 65-26 at the half, then out-scored StarSports 41-9 in the third quarter and 65-19 over the second half.

UNC was credited with 37 assists – Williams, Leaky Black and Andrew Platek each had a team-high six.
