Juniors Malin Evert (field hockey) and Alex Comsia (men’s soccer) recently were named to their sports’ respective All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic teams, each earning the honor for the third year in a row.
The teams take into account both academic and athletic performances. To be considered for an All-ACC Academic team, a conference student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the fall semester, as well as a cumulative 3.0 over the course of his or her college careers.
Both Evert and Comsia have won the honor in each year they’ve competed for UNC. Evert, from Bad Schwartau, Germany, is majoring in sociology. Comsia, from North Vancouver, B.C., is majoring in business administration
