#4 Carolina Takes A Point From #5 Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - No. 4 North Carolina got a result on the road at fifth-ranked Louisville, settling for a 0-0 double overtime draw on Friday night to add to its ACC Coastal Division leading points total.
The scoreless result puts North Carolina (11-2-1, 4-1-1) at 13 points on six matches, three points clear of second place Notre Dame, who sits on 10 points after a 1-0 loss at home to Pitt on Friday.
Carolina held a slim 8-7 shot advantage in what turned out to be the first draw for the Tar Heels in 14 matches this season. Senior Alan Winn had two on-target attempts, while sophomore Mauricio Pineda had a team-high four chances in 110 minutes.
Freshman keeper Alec Sir came up with two saves to register his third clean sheet. The Tar Heels have posted a shutout in four of their last five outings.
UNC hosts No. 18 Old Dominion on Tuesday in Cary, North Carolina at 7 p.m.
