Dawson Repeats as ACC Women's Diver of the Week

Durham native has won in back-to-back weeks.
GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Notre Dame's Abbie Dolan has been selected as the ACC Women's Swimmer of the Week, and Elissa Dawson of North Carolina has been tabbed as the Diver of the Week. On the men's side, NC State's Ryan Held has been selected as the ACC Men's Swimmer of the Week, and teammate James Brady has been selected as the Diver of the Week.
Dawson earned her second consecutive weekly honor with an impressive performance against No. 2 Texas in dual meet action last Saturday. The senior from Durham, North Carolina, won the 3-meter competition with a score of 363.75, the best mark in the ACC this season. Dawson also placed second on the 1-meter with a score of 321.75, finishing only behind Texas' 2017 NCAA champion in the event, Alison Gibson.
