• Luke Maye scored 20-plus points for the fifth time in the first seven games with a game-high 27, one off his career high.
• It was the third time this year Maye has scored at least 25 points.
• Maye tied his career high with 11 field goals (also against UNI and Arkansas).
• Theo Pinson led UNC in rebounds with seven and assists with six.
• It was the 25th time in his career Pinson led UNC in assists.
• Kenny Williams made three three-pointers and is now 17 for 30 from three-point range this season.
• Williams has made at least two three-pointers in five of UNC's six wins this season.
• Joel Berry II had 17 points and four assists. He passed York Larese for 47th place in school history in scoring with 1,288 points.
• Berry made three 3FGs. He passed Danny Green for sole possession of 10th in UNC history with 187 threes, one shy of Reggie Bullock for ninth.
• Walker Miller scored his first basket as a Tar Heel.
