Boyles & Bailey Earns Scholar All-Region Honors From Coaches Association

Boyles named first-team honoree
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - University of North Carolina women's soccer players Joanna Boyles and Dorian Bailey were honored Wednesday when they were named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's Scholar All-South Region Teams.
Boyles, a redshirt senior midfielder from Raleigh, N.C., was named to the All-South Region first-team at the conclusion of a splendid career for the Tar Heels. Boyles maintains a 3.44 grade point average with a major in exercise and sport science.
Dorian Bailey, a junior midfielder from Mission, Kan., was named to the second-team Scholar All-South Region Team. Carolina's second-leading scorer on the 2017 ACC Tournament championship team joined Boyles this season as second-team All-ACC Team honorees. Bailey has a 3.36 cumulative grade point average while majoring in exercise and sport science.
