Freshman earns second national crown.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The penultimate day of competition at the 2017 USA Diving Winter National Championships saw two synchronized pairs crowned as Grayson Campbell (Vienna, Va./University of Texas) and Greg Duncan (Oakton, Va./University of North Carolina) won the men's synchronized 3-meter event and Olivia Rosendahl (Los Angeles, Calif./Northwestern University) and Sophia McAfee (San Marino, Calif./Trojan Dive Club) took first in the women's 10-meter contest Monday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
This marks the second national championship on the senior level for the Tar Heel freshman who last August won the senior national crown in mens three-meter diving in Columbus, Ohio.

"This feels awesome," Campbell said. "It's really fun when I'm with one of my best friends. We grew up together in the same town, so it's real special to win a first national synchro title with him. I couldn't be happier."
The duo crafted three dives of 40.00 or more points in the final, including a forward 3½ somersault pike in round three that earned 42.00 points for their highest-scoring dive of the day. Briadam Herrera (Miami, Fla./University of Miami) and Joey Cifelli (Chicago Heights, Ill./Purdue University) took second at 753.90 points, while Dash Enos (Studio City, Calif./University of Southern California) and Henry Fusaro (Scottsdale, Ariz./University of Southern California) secured bronze with 730.02 points.
