Stewart Accepts Senior Bowl Invite

North Carolina senior cornerback M.J. Stewart will participate in the 2018 Reese's Senior Bowl after accepting an invitation to the annual event, the Senior Bowl announced Monday.
A two-time All-ACC honorable mention selection, Stewart etched his name in the Carolina defensive record books with 12 pass breakups in his senior campaign, giving him 41 for his career. That number is a new UNC record for pass breakups, surpassing Robert Williams' mark of 40 set from 1995-97. The Arlington, Virginia, native also had 45 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks on the year while providing senior leadership for a youth-laden defense.
Played in Mobile, Alabama, on January 27, 2018, the Senior Bowl annually features the country's best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams.
