"This is a huge deal as only the top 12 divers in the country compete in finals," said UNC diving coach Abel Sanchez. "Bryan Allen ended fifth, breaking the school record. I'm also really proud of Max Jenkins. Max ended up 14th in the semifinals. He was six points shy of 12th place. I'm so proud of the two young men."
