2017 Begins Sunday With Coastal Carolina Exhibition

CARY, North Carolina - The first chance to see the No. 4 North Carolina men's soccer team in the 2017 season is right around the corner. The Tar Heels host 19th-ranked Coastal Carolina in an exhibition match on Sunday, Aug. 13 at WakeMed Soccer Park at 7 p.m.
Admission is FREE to all games this season at WakeMed, including Sunday evening's top-25 matchup.
With on-campus construction under way on the new soccer and lacrosse field in Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels will host nine matches in Cary this season. In addition, Carolina will play "home matches" in the Triad against Providence in the season opener on Aug. 25 at Elon University, Duke on Sept. 16 at Bryan Park in Browns Summitt and Winthrop on Sept. 26 at UNCG.

Need to know info for fans at WakeMed Soccer Park
• There will be no admission fee
• There will be no parking fee (primary parking in lot B and plenty of overflow)
• There is permanent seating for 500 fans
• There will be standing room only seating if the grandstand fills up
• No outside food or beverage can be brought in
• Concessions will be available (Backyard Bistro)
• Gates will open one hour prior to kickoff
• All regular season games are tentatively scheduled to be streamed on ACC Network Extra
