Ratliff-Williams, Surratt Earn ACC Player Of The Week Honors

GREENSBORO, North Carolina - Anthony Ratliff-Williams and Chazz Surratt earned Atlantic Coast Conference Football Players of the Week honors on Monday following their outstanding performances in week two of the 2017 season.

Ratliff-Williams, a sophomore from Matthews, North Carolina, earned specialist of the week honors by returning five kickoffs for a school single-game record 199 yards, an average of 39.8 yards per return. Among the five returns was a 94-yard touchdown in the third quarter, Ratliff-Williams' first career scoring play.
Rookie of the week went to Surratt after completing 12-of-14 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns, all in the first half of Saturday's 47-35 setback to No. 17 Louisville. The redshirt freshman from Denver, North Carolina, hit tight end Brandon Fritts for a pair of scores – a 1-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and a 5-yarder in the second quarter.
