AUGUSTA, Ga. --- The Augusta Sports Council and the Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Tom Sheldon of the University of North Carolina as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week for week two games. Sheldon punted four times for 214 yards in Carolina's game against Louisville on Sept. 9.
Sheldon averaged 53.5Â yards per punt with three punts marked inside Louisville's 20-yard line. Sheldon's net average from the game was 51.5 yards. His longest punt was a career-long 66-yarder, and three of his punts were not returned.Â
