Busy Weekend Ahead For Carolina Women's Tennis

The North Carolina women's tennis team returns to the court, competing at two events this weekend to open the 2017-18 season at the Hall of Fame ITA Grass Court Invitational in Newport, Rhode Island, and the Duke Bonk Invitational at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, N.C.
No. 22 Jessie Aney, No. 4 Sara Daavettila, No. 42 Alexa Graham and Alle Sanford are scheduled to compete at the second annual event at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, the only ITA grass court tournament of the year. The other three teams in action include defending NCAA champion Florida, LSU and Princeton.
