
Late Night With Roy Details

CHAPEL HILL—Late Night With Roy, the 15th annual ceremonial season tipoff for Carolina Basketball, will be the first opportunity to see the defending NCAA champions start their 2017-18 season in style.Â
The Tar Heels will welcome fans into the Smith Center on Friday October 13 as the team looks ahead to another promising campaign after back-to-back NCAA final appearances and the 2017 national title. Highlighting the evening will be the unveiling of the '17 NCAA championship banner in the rafters of the Smith Center.Â
Former Tar Heel National Player of the Year, two-time NBA champion and current Turner Sports analyst Kenny Smith will host the evening.
Doors will open at 4 p.m.  The volleyball team will face Virginia Tech in the Smith Center at 5 p.m., followed by Late Night with Roy featuring the men's and women's basketball teams. Admission is free.Â
Late Night 2017 will be streamed live by ACC Network Extra.
The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a mini replica 2017 NCAA championship banner. Men's and women's basketball posters and schedule magnets also will be available.

PARKING
Public parking will be available for $10 in the Rams Head Deck (limited parking beginning at 3 p.m.). Public parking also will be available for $10 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Bowles Lot, the Manning Lot, the Craige Deck and the Jackson Deck. More parking information is available here.
Disability parking will be available for $10 in the Williamson Lot, and shuttles will operate from there to Entrance A of the Smith Center beginning at 5 p.m.
TAR HEEL EXPRESS SHUTTLES
Tar Heel Express shuttle bus service will operate from the Friday Center (located off Highway 54 on Friday Center Drive)Â beginning at 5 p.m. for a $5 fare (round-trip). The shuttles will provide continuous and fully accessible service, running every 10-15 minutes between the Friday Center and the Smith Center. The shuttles will operate for 45 minutes following the end of Late Night. One-way trips are $3. Click here for more information.
