Meet The Tar Heel Softball Team Sunday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – In addition to cheering for the Tar Heels against Miami, fans at the UNC women's basketball game Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. will have the opportunity to meet the Carolina softball team.
Softball team members will be on hand as UNC hosts the Hurricane at Carmichael Arena, throwing t-shirts to fans during the game and signing autographs in the lobby at halftime. Autograph posters will be available, but fans are also welcome to bring other items they'd like the team to sign.
The Tar Heels open spring action on Feb. 10 in Florida, and their first home game is on Feb. 16 against Illinois in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
Carolina returns 15 letterwinners from the 2017 team, which finished 40-21 and reached both the ACC Championship final and the NCAA Regional final for the first time in program history.
