Tar Heels Climb Back Into Top 15 In Polls

CHAPEL HILL—The University of North Carolina men's basketball team has moved back into the top 15 of both major national polls after a pair of wins last week in Atlantic Coast Conference play.  The Tar Heels climbed five spots to No. 15 in the Associated Press poll and four spots from No. 18 to tied for No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches poll. 
Last week, Carolina dominated Boston College, 96-66, at home on Tuesday and won, 69-68, at Notre Dame (ranked No. 25 in the coaches poll at the time) on Saturday night.
Other teams ranked in this week's AP poll include No. 2 Virginia, No. 5 Duke, No. 20 Clemson and No. 25 Miami.
UNC will host Clemson (15-2) on Tuesday night in the Smith Center.Â
