Lohman, Burston & Allen Triumph in Hawai'i Diving Invitational

Lohman wins two events and Bruston and Allen each win one.
HONOLULU, HAWAI'I - University of North Carolina junior divers Maria Lohman and Sean Burston won championships Wednesday at the Wally Kakamoto Hawai'i Diving Invitational at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Center in Honolulu, O'ahu.
Lohman captured the women's one-meter title with a score of 309.80 points, eding Ivy Houser of the Rainbow Wahine who finished second with 297.20 points.
On the men's side, Tar Heel junior redshirt Sean Burston won the men's three-meter title with a score of 378.30 points. The veteran Tar Heel finished 24 points ahead of runner-up Johan Sandell of the Rainbow Warriors.
On Thursday, Lohman won her second event of the meet as she captured the three-meter diving title. She claimed the three-meter event by a two-point margin over the Rainbow Wahine's Ivy Houser.
Carolina divers continued to excel on the final day of the meet on Friday as sophomore Bryan Allen won the men's 10-meter diving event. Allen prevailed by a 20-point margin over Hawai'is Luke Cooperman.
