Greene To Compete At USATF Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday
February 15, 2018 | Track & Field
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - North Carolina's Nicole Greene will compete in the women's high jump at the USA Track & Field Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
Competing against some of the top professional high jumpers in the country, the two-time All-America will look to become a national champion in the event.Â
Greene, a junior out of Ponte Vedra, Fla., has only competed in three meets this season, but her jump of 6-2 (1.88 meters) from the Dick Taylor Carolina Cup on January 13 is the best jump in the ACC this season and the third best jump among all NCAA competitors. In each of the meets, Greene has jumped at least 6-0 ¾ (1.85m) and has only lost to three-time Olympian Levern Spencer at the Clemson Invitational. Â
She is seeded fourth in Championships behind Vashti Cunningham, Elizabeth Patterson and Inika McPherson.
The meet will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network at 5 p.m. and will also be available via an NBC Sports Gold subscription beginning at 2 p.m.
Live results will be available on FlashResults.com.
