Carolina Adds Seven To Complete 2018 Signing Class
February 7, 2018 | Football
CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina head football coach Larry Fedora signed seven prospective football student-athletics to National Letters of Intent Wednesday on National Signing Day. Combined with the 14 who signed in December during the early period, Fedora has added 21 prospects for next fall. Â
"Our staff has done a tremendous job in finishing this class, getting out and building relationships, and establishing connections throughout the entire state and our entire footprint," Fedora said. "I'm proud of the job they've done and am excited about the kids we just added to the roster today. I think about seven of these guys in this class are already enrolled in school and going to classes and working out with the team. Today was a nice addition to this group."
The total class features 11 players on offense and 10 on defense. Of the seven signed on Wednesday, four come from the state of Florida, with two hailing from Alabama and one from Georgia.Â
