Latest Oracle/ITA Tennis Rankings

The updated Oracle/ITA Division I Women's Tennis Rankings features five North Carolina Tar Heels in singles and three doubles tandems listed among the top players in the nation.
Sophomore Makenna Jones slides up one place to No. 10. The native of Greenville, South Carolina, is also 4-0 in duals and 14-2 on the year.
Junior Jessie Aney is listed at No. 21 this week. From Rochester, Minnesota, Aney is 4-0 in dual matches and 15-6 in her third campaign in Chapel Hill.
Sophomore Sara Daavettila checks in at No. 52. A native of Williamston, Michigan, Daavettila is 5-0 thus far in duals and 12-8 overall.
Sophomore Alexa Graham re-enters the rankings at No. 78 behind a team-best 6-0 unblemished mark in dual matches. The Garden City, New York, product is 14-6 and back in the national rankings for the first time since the preseason.
In doubles, Sanford and Daavettila jumped 17 spots to No. 20, followed by Aney and Graham at No. 30, and Jones and junior Chloe Ouellet-Pizer hang on at No. 59.
The fifth-ranked Tar Heels (6-0) received the No. 3 seed for the 2018 ITA Division I National Women's Team Indoor Championship. The four-day event at the University of Wisconsin begins on Friday, February 9 in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Tar Heels will take on Ole Miss on Friday at 12 p.m. at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium. Winners of the event in 2013 and 2015, Carolina also finished runner-up in both 2016 and 2017.
Carolina is the only team nationally to have two players in the top 10 and five players ranked in the top-80 in singles.
Freshman Alle Sanford remains the top ranked Carolina player, moving up three slots to No. 6 in singles.
