February 9, 2018 | Wrestling
RALEIGH, N.C. --- No. 24 North Carolina makes the short drive to Reynolds Coliseum Friday when the Tar Heels visit No. 6 NC State in an Atlantic Coast Conference dual. UNC dropped to 8-9 and 2-1 in the league with a 21-9 loss at No. 9 Virginia Tech last Saturday, while the Wolfpack sits at 13-1 and 3-0 in ACC competition. Tickets are available by visiting the NCSUÂ ticket website and a live stream will be available on ACC Network Extra.
Carolina is looking for its first dual win over NC State since 2013. The Wolfpack has won four straight in the rivalry, their longest such streak since the early 1980s. Last season the two teams met in the inaugural Brawl At The Hall, with State emerging with a 19-11 victory. UNC's last win the series game in 2013, a 30-6 Tar Heel triumph in Chapel Hill that was Carolina's biggest win in 16 years.
