Carolina in the NCAA Tournament Notes
• Carolina is 124-46 in the NCAA Tournament.
• The 21-point loss is UNC's largest in an NCAA Tournament game since a 96-73 loss to Arkansas in 1990 in the Midwest Region Sweet 16.
• It was the fifth-largest loss for UNC in the NCAA Tournament and the sixth time UNC has lost an NCAA Tourney game by 20 or more points.
• Carolina is 29-13 in second round games. This was the first time in nine games UNC lost in the second round as a higher seed (2006 George Mason).
• Carolina is 34-2 in NCAA Tournament games played in North Carolina, including 12-1 in Charlotte (5-1 in the Spectrum Center in NCAA games).
• Carolina's 31 three-point attempts are the most in an NCAA Tourney game (previous 30 vs. George Mason in 2006).
• Texas A&M grabbed 50 rebounds, second most against the Tar Heels this season (52 by Michigan State in an 18-point Tar Heel loss) and the most in an NCAA Tournament game by an opponent since 2013 when Kansas had 50 in a second round win over UNC.

• This was the 20th time an opponent made 10 or more three-pointers (10 today) this year and the seventh time in a loss.
• Joel Berry II (21) and Luke Maye (13) scored in double figures. Carolina was 26-6 this year when at least two Tar Heels scored in double figures and 0-5 when fewer than three scored in double figures.
