CHAPEL HILL—North Carolina's 2017-18 season came to an abrupt end with last Sunday's NCAA Tournament second-round loss to Texas A&M, but there is still plenty of news for UNC fans as the offseason begins.Â
As the NCAA Tournament concludes and Carolina's offseason has begun, here's some of the latest Tar Heel news you may have missed.

• Jones Angell and Adam Lucas break down the loss to Texas A&M and recap the season in Tuesday's Carolina Insider podcast:
• Adam Smith of the Burlington Times-News had some appreciation for seniors Joel Berry II and Theo Pinson.
• Congrats to Tar Heel Wes Miller (UNC '07), who earned district coach-of-the-year honors from the NABC.
3. 2018-19 SEASON TIDBITS
• Aaron Beard of the Associated Press begins to look ahead to UNC's future without Berry and Pinson.
• Graduate student Cameron Johnson, who has a year of college eligibility remaining, spoke with Roy Williams about his basketball future and his time with the Tar Heels, writes Adam Smith.
4. TAR HEELS IN THE PROS
• Vince Carter moved into 22nd place in career NBA scoring this week, approaching 25,000 points, and seems to have a good appreciation of the achievement.
• Isaiah Hicks is beginning to show he might have a future with the New York Knicks. Writes Marc Berman of the New York Post:  "In Hicks' nine games, the Knicks have liked his basketball IQ and his quick grasp of learning. They feel he can improve his deep jumper and become a more mobile defender in space."Â
• Orlando Melendez (UNC '01) has played for the Harlem Globetrotters for a decade continues to enjoy his time entertaining fans.
 • Marcus Paige has had a great March and hit a game-winning layup for the Greensboro Swarm earlier this week:
