CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina men's tennis team will close out the home regular season this weekend with a pair of matches at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. The eighth-ranked Tar Heels host Georgia Tech Saturday at noon and Clemson Sunday at 1 p.m.
There is no charge for admission to Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
On Sunday, the Tar Heels will host Senior Day, honoring the team's sole fourth-year player, Robert Kelly. There also will be a raffle for t-shirts and an autographed football.
Kelly and sophomore William Blumberg are atop the doubles rankings this week. Blumberg is No. 2 in singles while freshman Benjamin Sigouin is No. 33 and Kelly is No. 100.
UNC is 16-4 overall and 7-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. After this weekend, the Tar Heels hit the road to play Florida State and Miami before heading to the ACC Championship in Cary, N.C., April 27-29.
The Yellow Jackets are 5-13 overall and 1-8 in ACC play.
Clemson is 9-9 overall and 3-7 in ACC play following a 5-2 loss at Duke on Friday.
