Carolina Hosts Louisville Friday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The sixth-ranked North Carolina men's tennis team will host No. 40 Louisville Friday afternoon in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. There is no charge for admission to the match.
UNC comes into the match 14-4 overall and 5-1 in ACC play, with the only loss coming last week to top-ranked Wake Forest. Louisville is 14-6 overall and 4-3 in conference play.
The Tar Heels beat Virginia 6-1 on Sunday in their most recent outing. The Louisville match is the third in a row at home, and after that they hit the road for a Sunday visit to Boston College.
The Cardinals are coming off back-to-back losses last weekend in Florida. They fell 6-1 at No. 9 Florida State and 4-1 at No. 46 Miami. Prior to that they had won five matches in a row, including a win over No. 39 Clemson.
Three Tar Heels are part of the ITA singles rankings this week. Sophomore William Blumberg is at No. 2, freshman Benjamin Sigouin is No. 29 and senior Robert Kelly is No. 119. Blumberg and Kelly are ranked No. 4 in doubles.
