1952— Cecil Milton: Men's Swimming, Men's Tennis (Albemarle, N.C.)
Milton was an accomplished athlete at Carolina in both swimming, where he lettered three years, and on the tennis squad, playing one year for legendary head coach John Kenfield. Milton won Southern Conference titles in the 220-and 440-yard freestyle in 1950. Went on to become an orthopedic surgeon. Served as Chief of Staff at Presbyterian Hospital and Chief of Surgery at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte.
