1929— Henry Satterfield: Men’s Basketball, Baseball (Durham, N.C.)
Nicknamed “Little Poison,” Satterfield led the 1929 basketball team in scoring with 183 points, leading UNC in scoring eight times with a season-high 14 points in three games. Was All-Southern Conference in basketball and All-State in baseball. The Durham native was a two-year starter in basketball and started at shortstop. Inducted in the Order of the Golden Fleece and voted most popular member of the 1929 senior class.
