1948— Jim Camp: Football (Schoolfield, Va.)
Wingback who played at UNC from 1944-47. He began his collegiate career in 1942 at Randolph-Macon. Described as a “speedster on the Tar Heel Wing” and “scooter with deceptive stride. Specialized as a reverse runner. Scored four touchdowns in the final three games of 1947’s 8-2 season. Played one year of professional football with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1948.
