2012— Katelyn Falgowksi: Field Hockey (Landenberg, Pa.)
Led the Tar Heels to national championships in 2007 and 2009 and a second-place finish as a senior in 2011, earning National Player-of-the-Year honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The Landenberg, Pa., native had 20 goals and a school-record 63 assists as a Tar Heel.
A two-time first-team All-America, she was a four-time All-America honors and All-ACC honoree. Falgowski was the MVP of the 2011 ACC Tournament and the ACC Rookie of the Year in 2007.
She played in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics, was a member of the U.S. Senior National Team from 2007-17 and won a gold medal in the 2011 Pan Am Games. She earned world all-star honors in 2011.
She was inducted into the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame.
