Carmen Hooker And Boyd Newnam To Be Guest Starters For ACC Cross Country Championships

CHapel Hill, N.C. - UNC Track and Field has announced that Carmen Hooker and Boyd Newnam will be the guest starters at the ACC Cross Country Championships, which will be held at the Finley Cross Country Course on November 1st at 10:00 a.m.
Carmen Hooker is the wife of the late UNC Chancellor Michael Hooker and Boyd Newnam is a retired professor from the Department of Physical Education. He is also a former UNC track coach and runner.
