CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The men's tennis match between 47th-ranked North Carolina and Appalachian State scheduled for Saturday, February 20 at 10 a.m. at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill has been postponed. Tar Heel head coach Sam Paul announced the postponement on Friday night.
The Tar Heels (4-1) were scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday, meeting ASU at 10 a.m. and Furman at 4 p.m. The match with the Paladins on Saturday will still be played.
However, Carolina was forced to announce the postponement of the ASU match because the Mountaineer team could not travel to Chapel Hill team on Friday because of a severe snow storm in western North Carolina.
