Carolina Finishes Triangle Classic 2-2

RALEIGH, N.C.--The North Carolina softball team finished 2-2 at its own Triangle Classic last weekend, bowing out of single-elimination play with a 4-1 loss to Purdue on Sunday. Purdue scored twice in the first inning and totaled six hits for the game. Sophomore Radara McHugh pitched the complete game for UNC.
In Saturday's games, Carolina beat Norfolk State 15-0, lost to Rhode Island 5-3 and beat Drexel 6-2.
Carolina, now 2-4, travels to Columbia, S.C., Tuesday to take on the University of South Carolina in a double-header. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
