Tar Heel Wrestlers Compete At East Stroudsburg Open

The UNC wrestling team had six wrestlers place in the top-five spots at the East Stroudsburg Open Saturday in East Stroudsburg, Pa. The event was the first action for the Tar Heels this season.
Dusty Heist was the highest-placing Carolina wrestler, taking 3rd place at 174 pounds. Three Tar Heels earned 4th-place spots, Evan Sola (133 pounds), Brad Byers (141 pounds), and Matt Kenny (Hwt.).
Chris Rodrigues (125 pounds) and Jake Reynolds (165 pounds) each took with 5th place finishes.
Carolina is back in action next Saturday hosting the Sharpie-Carolina Open at Carmichael Auditorium.
