Junior Kelly Ramsey finished second in the Kia Klassic home run contest, which took place before the start of the tournament. The contest pitted representatives from five teams--Arizona State, UNLV, North Carolina, Notre Dame and host Cal State Fullerton--against local media members.
Kelly Ramsey, UNC's representative in the contest, leads the Tar Heels with four home runs this season.
