GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior Marcio Petrone has been named to the 2001 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis Team it was announced on Sunday.
Petrone is the lone Tar Heel to be named to the 2001 All-ACC Team.
Petrone has played #1 singles and #1 doubles for the Tar Heels all season. He has an overall record of 16-15 in singles for Carolina and 18-8 in doubles.
Petrone has been one of the leaders of the Tar Heels this season as Carolina posted an 11-8 record and finished second in the ACC with a 6-2 record.
