Tar Heels News Flash, Carolina's free athletics email newsletter, is pleased to present a new feature this week, Tar Heel Tee-to-Green Tips.
The Tar Heel Tee-to-Green Tips are brought to you by the staff of UNC Finley, one of the finest public golf courses in North Carolina, and will run through the spring in the Tar Heel News Flash.
Johnny Cake, Director of Golf at UNC Finley, provides this week's tip:
"Grip, set-up and alignment are three fundamentals which will help produce good golf shots. It takes no athletic ability to learn and do these consistently. A note on your grip - it's the heartbeat of a good golf swing. Both hands must be able to work together. The grip is the only communication you have with the club. Make sure your grip is correct."
