The Tar Heels (29-21, 2-2 ACC) travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to take on the Florida State Seminoles for an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on Saturday. The first game of the doubleheader will begin at noon.
The trip is Carolina's third of the season to Florida and the first of two that the Tar Heels will make to Tallahassee. UNC will return to the Seminole Softball Complex for the 2002 ACC Championship May 10-12.
UNC in the latest NCAA stats
The first NCAA national statistical rankings of the 2002 season have been released, and the UNC team ranks among the country's best, as do several Tar Heel individuals.
