Monroe Advances To Singles Semifinals At ACC Indoors

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Seniors Nick Monroe and Andy Metzler remained alive in singles and doubles following Saturday play in the 2004 Atlantic Coast Conference Coaches Indoor Championships at the Leighton Indoor Tennis Center on the Wake Forest University campus. Monroe, the tournament's No. 1 seed in singles, has advanced to the semifinals of singles play and has combined with Metzler to reach the semifinals in doubles.
Metzler also remains alive in singles play as he heads into play Sunday to compete in the quarterfinal round of the consolation bracket in singles.
