Jessi Perruquet (women's swimming) and Yuri Suguiyama (men's swimming) were announced as winners of the ACC Student-Athlete Award, given annually to one male and one female from each ACC school.
"We honor our teams for their outstanding athletic performances all year, but this is an opportunity to recognize our student-athletes for what they do in the classroom and the community," said UNC Director of Athletics Dick Baddour. "I always leave this banquet so impressed by our Carolina student-athletes and all that they accomplish. They're great representatives of our university."
