Six Tar Heels Earn Dean's List Recognition

Six members of this year's University of North Carolina softball team were named to the Dean's List for the fall academic semester. Those student-athletes are Julia Bove, Crystal Cox, Jaclyn Holden, Anna Evans, Joslin Higgins and Alison Yin.
"I am really pleased with the results of our fall semester as six players acheived the Dean's List, and a seventh, Jen Jacobs, earned at least a 3.0," Coach Donna J. Papa said. "We expect our players to work just as hard in the classroom as they do on the field. It is a tribute to those players managing their time well. We challenge them every semester to excel in the classroom."
In order to earn the distinction of being named to the Dean's List at Carolina, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.2 while carrying 15 credit hours or more, or a GPA of 3.5 while carrying 12 to 14 credit hours.
