Carlotti's Run Ends at Wilson/ITA Mideast Championship Semifianls

Chapel Hill, N.C. - Senior Benjamin Carlotti fell short in his bid to qualify for the ITA National Indoor Singles Championships. Old Dominon's Henrique Cancado defeated Carlotti 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals on Sunday morning.
The tournament concluded an exciting fall for Carlotti who compiled a 11-2 singles record. Carlotti qualified for the All-American Championships in early October and and won four matches in the main draw at this weekend's tournament.
The Wilson/ITA Mideast Indoor Championships has been held in Chapel Hill for 13 consecutive years. The singles finalists (Harel Srugo and Henrique Cancado of ODU) and doubles champions (Colin O'Brien and Alex Cojanu of William & Mary) qualify for the ITA National Indoor Championships to be held in two weeks in Chicago.
