Chapel Hill, N.C. - The 7-0 Carolina Men's Tennis team, ranked 27th nationally this week in the Fila/ITA rankings, hosts Georgetown and UNC-Wilmington Saturday at the Cone-Kenfield Indoor Tennis Center. The Tar Heels faced both teams two years ago at home, defeating the Hoyas 6-1 and the Seahawks 6-0.
Two wins on Saturday would give the Tar Heels their best start to a season since 1973. Sophomore Benjamin Carlotti boasts a 5-0 dual match record including a 10-2 singles mark overall. Senior Raian Luchici has defeated seven nationally ranked opponents in route to a 11-4 overall singles record.
Carolina will face Georgetown at 10 am and UNC-W at 3 pm. The Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center is located on Highway 54 behind the Friday Center.
