Sue Walsh
Associate Executive Director – Scholarship & Legacy Gifts
Sue's primary responsibility as the Associate Executive Director – Scholarship & Legacy Gifts for The Rams Club is the oversight of the scholarship endowment and planned giving programs.
Sue - arguably the greatest swimmer in Carolina history - graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UNC in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting. During her time as a swimmer for Carolina, Sue was an 11-time AIAW/NCAA national champion, named to the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team, selected as a Patterson Medal recipient, and inducted into the Verizon Academic All-America Hall of Fame and the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame.
Prior to joining The Rams Club in 1989, Sue was a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Whinney.
A native of Hamburg, NY, Sue now resides in Durham, and has three children, Sarah, Shelby, and Shawn.
