Register with University Career Services at http://careers.unc.edu
Visit University Career Services to research possible job and internship interests.
Make sure you have an up-to-date resume and have it critiqued by Dana Gelin, Cricket Lane or a UCS career counselor.
Also:
Schedule an appointment to meet with a UCS career counselor in your major area.
Strive to obtain a summer or school year internship or job in your planned career field or something related.
Attend internship and career fairs through UCS and check for networking nights in the field(s) you're considering.
Take advantage of programming offered through Career Development.
If you're considering graduate school, research possibilities and deadlines for admissions tests.
Finalize references.
