UNC Student-Athletes Gather To Welcome A New Year

Hundreds of UNC student-athletes, coaches and staff gathered Tuesday evening at Boshamer Stadium for the annual Welcome Back Picnic to usher in a new school year. The Tar Heels enjoyed a barbecue dinner and ice cream, caught up with friends and tried their hand at fun activities. UNC Director of Athletics Dick Baddour spoke briefly to welcome everyone to what is sure to be an outstanding year.
