CHAPEL HILL, NC - The University of North Carolina Athletic Department announced today the unveiling of the UNC Photo Store. UNC faithful can purchase athletic pictures at www.TarHeelBlue.com for Holiday gifts, home wall art, or office decorations. To celebrate the launch of the UNC Photo Store, the athletic department is pleased to offer a free 9"x12" photo to all Tar Heel Fans. Click on the free photo link to receive the promotion code good for $34.95. Select a complimentary 9"x12" photo of your choice or upgrade to a custom framed print on canvas.
"We are very excited to introduce fans to our new UNC Photo Store," said Michael Beale, Assistant Athletic Director. "Tar Heel fans, alumni and students will now be able to capture their favorite memory of UNC with a wide selection of campus and historic athletic photography. In addition to the pictures that define our rich history and traditions, we plan on including photos of the most recent events and games throughout the season."
Powered by Replay Photos, the website will feature pictures of all 28 sports, as well as new game action photos from the 2008 season. Over 400 images are included in the gallery, and the pictures from this year's competition will continue to be posted throughout the season.
Every image has been captured by a professional photographer and is reproduced in three sizes (9 x 12, 12 x16, 15 x 20) framed, unframed, or gallery wrapped on canvas.
