CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Tarheelblue.com presents its final installment of freshmen softball interviews. Tisha Mahon is a 5'10" outfielder from Lexington, N.C. Mahon is no stranger to success, as she was named North Carolina's Gatorade Player of the Year in her senior season at North Davidson High School. The freshman was also named all-state and All-America her junior and senior seasons of high school. Mahon was the teammate of fellow classmate Elisha Elliott at North Davidson. The freshman looks to add depth to the 2010 outfield, which is seeking to replace all-time hits leader Breanna Brown.
Mahon hints she would play field hockey if she could play another sport at Carolina, citing it looks like fun. Mahon follows suit with fellow classmates believing Brittany Robinson is the team's funniest player. Stay tuned to tarheelblue.com for more softball information about the upcoming season and to check out the other freshman interviews.
