
Hernandez Falls In Second Round of NIIC

QUEENS, N.Y. - Junior Jose Hernandez dropped his Round of 16 singles match Friday in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Queens, N.Y.
Hernandez, who entered the 32-man event as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Wild Card selection, fell to No. 8 seed Dennis Nevolo of the University of Illinois in the second round of action by a 6-3, 7-6 (5) score.
The NIIC was held at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows.
